Through the tenacity of small team of people, MAXlive produces 2 performances a year, artist residencies, and the premiere biannual MAXlive Festival. Through the kind support of all donors, our bottom line is funded 25% from donations. Your support is integral to maintaining high quality productions and introducing new artists.
We bring storytellers, performers, scientists, and creative technologists together to make cutting edge work that engages with the promise (and peril) of our rapidly advancing society. We offer audiences opportunities to experience the beauty and complexity of the current moment with music, dance and performance art. With our creative teams we illuminate scientific innovation through artistic expression and broaden artistic expression through scientific discoveries.
